Coagulation problems
Coagulation problems can be caused by: the immune system attacking itself, drug reactions, or hereditary diseases. Another (less likely) cause might be rat bait poisoning

Obstructions
If your cat likes to sniff and east grass then they could have inhaled a piece which is now lodged in their nose.

Tumours and Abscesses
Abscesses may build up if one of your pet's teeth cracks causing bacteria to invade. Nasal tumors can also happen but the cause of these have never truly been established.

General ill health
Many age-related problems can cause nosebleeds, such as renal disease or overactive thyroid.
