Birds as Pets No I Love Them Free

I know many people have birds as pets, and I have nothing against that. It’s not how I love to see birds though, I love to watch them flying free. My favourite pets are dogs, they've been my only pet for years, and I imagine I’ll have at least one dog for the rest of my life.


As I said, I love watching birds flying free, in the sky, in and around the trees at our place and beyond. I have a list of the birds I have seen at and around my place, and at the moment I think there are 43 different kinds of birds on the list. I get very excited when I think I've seen a new kind of bird to add to my list.

I love my dogs too though, and it makes me sad when I see my dogs doing doggy things, and chasing the birds that fly free around our yard. I don’t blame the dogs for what they do, they are only following their instincts. I just wish the birds would do their flying on the other side of our fence, and stay safe from the dogs!
