I think we have all heard horror stories of owners giving their pet medicine that was prescribed or aimed for humans. A lot of the time owners think they are helping their pet, not realising the damage they could do when dose, drug concentration etc. is a lot different between humans and animals.

Have you ever given your pet medicine that was prescribed or aimed at humans? Or have you heard any horror stories on this subject?

No WAY!!!
Good grief what's the world coming too?

Human medicine is totally for humans.
I just shake my head and wonder.
Why anyone would do that is beyond me.
No I would never do that!
No, but I have had meds prescribed for my pet that are also prescribed for humans. I think that is why some folks think they are interchangeable...
No. There is no way I would do this. I would never use medicine prescribed for my dog or cat for myself and I would never use tablets or ointments intended for humans on my pets.
